Choose a style by the amount of emphasis
Regular italic is a quiet accent. Bold italic is stronger and works best for a few words. Alternating styles mix serif and sans serif alphabets within a phrase; they are decorative combinations rather than separate Unicode alphabets. Keep one consistent style if easy reading is your priority.
Give one word the spotlight
Enable Only italicize specific words and enter comma-separated words from your text. Matching is case-sensitive: entering Moon changes Moon but leaves moon alone. Whole-word matching also keeps Moonlight unchanged. Leave the box unchecked to transform every supported letter.

Changing the style filter does not change what you typed. Compare the previews, then use the Copy button on the card you prefer. Clear empties the input and restores the example preview. The page does not save your writing; keep your own copy before closing or refreshing it.
